Trobbio

Overview

Trobbio is an NPC and boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong, first revealed in the announcement trailer.

His debut shows him inside a shadowed chamber lit by hanging fixtures and a looming bell emblem. Facing Hornet, he crouches as plumes of steam erupt from the floor, then bursts upright, shouting his name while unfurling his wings in a scarlet flash amid showers of confetti.

A later developer blog named him directly, dubbing Trobbio the "Master of the Stage, the Brush and the Voice" and noting his pursuit of fame and adoration across Pharloom.

Within the game he awaits in The Stage, a boss arena first accessed through the Whispering Vaults. Adventurers are advised to set their respawn at the Grand Bellway for a quicker return should they fall.

Trobbio fights in four escalating phases; after the second his attacks quicken and he gains the power to call fireworks from beneath the floor.

Defeating him awards the Claw Mirror.
