Lace

Overview

Lace is a recurring boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

She features twice in the reveal trailer, each time in a different arena and firmly opposed to Hornet.

In the first encounter shown, Lace duels Hornet in a dark chamber strewn with pale roses and backdropped by towering pipes, a golden cage dominating the centre. Lace slashes upward with her gilded pin before lunging diagonally downward in a vicious midair thrust.

Her second trailer appearance is fleeting: she whirls through the air above a metal platform suspended over a lava lake, slashing in a frenzy.

Developers later clarified that this lava-side clash marks Hornet's first meeting with Lace during the game.
